Keratin is necessary to restore damaged hair. However, most shampoos & conditioners that claim to contain keratin fail to mention that 1) it’s almost always animal-derived; 2) it rinses out when you rinse the shampoo & conditioner out of your hair. I would highly recommend this product. I’ve been using it consistently for almost 2 years and have noticed a difference in my hair. It’s shinier, looks fuller and less shedding. You must use it consistently to notice results. It’s citrus smell is a good wake up call for your morning shower. Also, after lathering it into my scalp I let it sit for about 30 seconds before rinsing it out. Does make a difference!
